Adult Ministries

Adult Spiritual Formation
Kay Covode, Teresa Gribble, Angela Wilkerson, Tom Wilkerson

Spiritual formation is the process of being conformed to the image of Christ. This committee prayerfully discerns topics for study and discussion to encourage individual and community growth. It also helps members of the parish to identify and nurture their gifts of teaching, leading, listening, exhorting, etc. for the building up of the body of Christ.

Multiple opportunities are currently being offered at different times for Bible study, exploring Episcopal practices, and examining our own beliefs,

Cursillo/Ultreya
Linda & Ivey Wingocursillo-carolyn

Cursillo, a Spanish word meaning "a short course in Christianity" is a program to help Christians know God's love and grace, and live out their personal vocations as Christ-centered leaders in the world. It begins with a weekend retreat of healing and renewal, and continues with small weekly support groups and larger periodic group meetings called Ultreyas.

Daughters of the King
Judy Steinbauer, Lois Ann Wentzel

An international prayer order for women within the Episcopal church and affiliate churches, whose lifetime vow is to make a vow to live by our Order’s ‘Rule of Life’.  We support each other in the spiritual discipline of daily prayer, service and evangelism.
