Mark your calendars now for the big shopping event of the fall: the Country Fare flea market at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Hayesville, slated for September 9 and 10. Hours are eight until two on Friday the 9th and again on Saturday the 10th. On Saturday items will be discounted periodically through “blue light specials.”

This year's Country Fare is going to be phenomenal, the best ever. If you need to buy school clothes or fashionable clothes for yourself, freshen up household items, replace a worn out appliance, or find a new piece of furniture, Country Fare is the place to shop. The furniture selection this year is especially good, because several Good Shepherd families have moved and donated some nice pieces. You can also find dishes, linens, clothing, accessories, artwork, books, games, toys, and much more. Everything is clean and in good repair. Lunch will be available as well.

Country Fare has been staged by Good Shepherd for well over 20 years. Parishioners at the church get excited because this is an opportunity to give new life to their used but still high quality clothing, books, household and garden items, and sports equipment. They also know that all the proceeds will be donated to area charitable organizations.
