The Second Annual Advent Event is happening on Saturday, December 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Parish Hall. We had a blast last year and things are shaping up to be as much or more fun this year. Learn to make a Danish Christmas Basket, an Advent Wreath, and fun things from paper. Assemble a teacup planter for a gift, braid a key chain, and decorate gingerbread cookies. Special for the youngest among us is making paper chains and decorating the Parish Hall with them. This is a free event for the whole family; so round up the kids and grands, borrow the neighbors kids and invite the neighbors while you are at it. There are light refreshments, holiday music, a Therapy Dog for those of you in need of therapy this close to Christmas, and lots of smiles.
