On Saturday, February 13 at 10:00 am Ann Miller Woodford, Author/Artist, will be at Good Shepherd's Parish Hall to introduce her new book When All God's Children Get Together: A Celebration of the Lives and Music of African American People in Far Western North Carolina. Ann wrote about people who helped to build the community of Far Western North Carolina from Waynesville, Canton and back to Murphy. They were largely invisible people and she didn't want their life stories to be forgotten. Her work has always been to tear down the barriers that separate people, racially, religiously and ages, the young and old. Signed books will be available for purchase. A lite lunch will be served. Please sign up in the hallway if you plan to attend.
