Souper Bowl Sunday is just around the corner on Feb 8. Kathy Wright is leading the effort to stock the shelves of the Hurlburt Johnson Friendship House with soup and stew. The Friendship House in Murphy is the only Homeless Shelter within a 150 mile radius. On Souper Bowl Sunday Kathy will make 2 pots of soup to share at lunch. She asks that you bring dried and canned soup and stew to donate to the Homeless Shelter. The shelter is serving more families with children than ever. On these cold nights, hot soup or stew is a welcome meal to fill hungry tummies.
