Sixteen stalwart women from Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Hayesville braved the rapids of the Middle Ocoee River on August 4. Even though some had never rafted before, no one “swam,” a term used by guides for those who fall out of the raft.

Country Fares have been held at Good Shepherd since our founding. Country Fare is at the heart of our community outreach programs and is a huge part of who we are as a church. It is our largest outreach fund raising event of the year. 

The St. Francis Pet Memorial Garden has been completed and is open for use. It is open to the use of all parishioners for the remembrance of their pets. The garden is located on the west side of the nave and can be accessed by driveway or the doorways from the nave and Dogwood Room. The Garden Angels for the St. Francis Garden are Sue and Bob LeKites, if you would like to help maintain this area, please give them a call. 

Many churches pay respect to their most senior members, but Good Shepherd Episcopal Hayesville makes an effort to keep them involved in the active life of the parish.
