On Saturday September 12 Good Shepherd is having a booth at Pet Festival on the Square. Harry Baughn is providing a table and tent. Dwain Zagrocki, DVM is doing a veterinary program with and for the children. Fr. Bill is doing a Blessing of the Animals. Carole Webber is coordinating this event. Contact her for more information.

There is going to be a new contest for the most “angelic looking animal.” We are sponsoring this and presenting a stuffed animal toy (a lamb, of course) to the winner. Also, we’re providing a watering station for the pets and will be handing out 200 goodie bags to the participants. What is missing? Two things:

1. DOGGIE TREATS: Would really appreciate doggie treats to put into the goodie bags (please put them in the box in the Parish Hall) and
2. VOLUNTEERS to fill the bags (Saturday, August 29 10:00 am) and the day of the event. Thank you ahead of time if you are able to help in any way!
